Henrik Hjelt is a professional actor, comedian, author and director. Born 1968 in Sweden, his father is British and mother Swedish. During school he attended theater classes. After school Henrik went on to do his military service, where he also continued in the military and became an officer in the Royal Swedish Marine, and today Henrik is a Lieutenant in the reserve. Henrik left the military for Law school at Uppsala University and took his degree, LLM in 1996. During his studies at the University he financed his living through stand-up, and was soon discovered by the Swedish television and was handpicked for a new comedy series. From there he went on in the entertainment business and have now done several tv-shows, sitcoms, feature films and also theatre, musicals and a number of soloshows with stand up and also comic monologues. Currently living in Stockholm with his wife and three sons.

Henrik Hjelt works today mainly as an actor and comedian. But is also active as a format creator in the entertainment industry, scriptwriter and is directing both theatre and commercials. Henrik also, through his production company, makes promos and pilots and creating formats for both television and feature films.
